Every track changes. Your Mac's output doesn't.
Apple Music plays every track in a different format — anywhere from 44.1kHz to 192kHz, 16-bit to 24-bit. When your Mac's output doesn't match, macOS resamples the sound, and at that moment lossless stops being lossless. SoundHop Pro ONi reads the format Apple Music is playing right now and matches your DAC output to the original, automatically — every time the track changes, with nothing to touch.

What SoundHop actually does

Do you open Audio MIDI Setup every time the song changes?
To hear lossless properly, you have to change the output format to match each track's sample rate. Play a 44.1kHz song after a 96kHz one and, if the output is still stuck at 96kHz, that song plays back upsampled. But opening Audio MIDI Setup by hand for every track? Realistically, nobody does that.
Detect. Match. Guard.
Detect
Reads, in real time, exactly what Apple Music is playing and in what format.
Match
Sets your DAC's sample rate and bit depth to that format — with no needless resampling.
Guard
Stops it from switching at the wrong moment mid-song, or dropping to an unsupported format.
It doesn't just follow. It refuses to follow the wrong signal.
Same-track downshift guard
It won't wrongly drop the track that's playing to a lower format.
Drift recovery
If something else knocks the output off, it returns to the format you had matched.
Track-change safety window
It won't switch hastily on the unstable signal right when a track changes.
We put more work into not matching wrong than into matching at all.
Built for Apple Music
Apple Music
SoundHop Pro ONi is designed for Apple Music. Reading Apple Music's playback format precisely and matching it is the core of this app.
TIDAL (experimental)
TIDAL is detected too, but it's still experimental. TIDAL support is not a promise included in the price, and its behavior can vary with your setup.
The switching you do in your head — the app does it all
Three matching modes
Match by Auto, Sample Rate, or Bit Depth — whichever you prefer.
Smart Priority auto-switching
When a preferred device appears or disappears, it switches by your ranking.
AirPods Guard
Stops your Mac from hijacking AirPods you only meant to use with your phone.
Profiles
Desk, headphones, living room — save device-and-format setups and recall them instantly.
DAC format presets
Pin exact sample-rate and bit-depth presets per DAC for manual control when you want it.
One-click output switching
Every output device in one menu bar popup, switched with a single click.
Korean & English
UI, docs and support fully available in both languages.
SoundHop ONi — the output switcher you use every day
Switch audio output from the menu bar in one click. No more opening System Settings every time you move between a DAC, speakers and earphones. And it always shows the format of what's playing at the top, so you can see at a glance what you're listening to and at what quality.

Get the normal app on the App StoreTogether, it's complete
Use the normal app to quickly choose where the sound goes, and Pro matches that output to Apple Music's original. Output selection is the normal app, format matching is Pro — using both together is what completes lossless listening.
Bought the normal app on the App Store? Send your receipt to support@soundhop.example and we'll send you a coupon for Pro once we verify your order.
It stays on your Mac
Your settings stay on this Mac only. No account, no analytics, no collection. (A short online check happens only when you activate a Pro license.) Buy once and every 1.x update is included. Even when Apple Music's or TIDAL's log format changes, we handle it free throughout 1.x.
We want to be clear about what we sell
LosslessSwitcher is a good free tool. We sell the stability and support it doesn't. SoundSource is a powerhouse for per-app audio control, but it doesn't do automatic Apple Music format matching — they solve different problems.
