1. What you are buying

SoundHop Pro ONi is a paid macOS application sold as a one-time purchase by its independent developer. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on one Mac. Each "Add a Mac" purchase (+$14.99) extends the same license to one additional Mac, up to 3 Macs in total.

2. Updates

All 1.x updates are included with your purchase at no extra cost. This explicitly includes compatibility fixes for supported streaming apps throughout the 1.x series. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.

If a paid major version (2.0) is ever released, upgrading is optional; existing customers will be offered a 50% discount, and 1.x will continue to function.

3. Activation

The app requires a brief online license verification at activation and periodically afterwards, with a 72-hour offline grace window. You may deactivate a Mac yourself at any time to move the license to another Mac.

4. Refunds (14 days)

If SoundHop Pro ONi is not for you, email support@soundhop.example with your order reference within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. After a refund, your license is deactivated.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have in your country of residence.

5. Experimental features

Features labeled "experimental" (currently TIDAL support) are provided as-is within the limits described on this site. They are covered by the same refund policy, and improvements ship free within 1.x — but experimental status means detection quality may vary with third-party app changes.

6. Fair use

Do not redistribute your license code, attempt to circumvent activation, or resell the app. We may deactivate licenses involved in fraud or chargebacks after the refund window.

7. Warranty & liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. In particular, we do not warrant uninterrupted compatibility with third-party software (macOS, Apple Music, TIDAL) whose behavior may change — though 1.x compatibility fixes are our stated commitment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
